Business Development Professional tasked with effectively communicating investment strategies to institutional and wealth channel investors in the southern Australian region. You will be collaborating closely with internal departments to ensure superior client service and satisfaction within the
Business Development team based in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new Business Development and nurture client relationships in Australia;
- Shape business strategy, contributing to product development and new initiatives;
- Engage in consultative discussions, advising clients on tailored solutions;
- Master investment strategies, articulating confidently across various products;
- Contribute to thought leadership through white papers and industry research; AND
- Stay abreast of industry trends, leveraging internal resources to remain relevant.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in any relevant field, CFA and/or relevant Masters are highly regarded;
- 10 or more years' experience working in asset or investment management;
- A trusted advisor within institutional and consultant networks;
- Proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset for opportunity spotting;
- Expertise in end-to-end sales process and relationship management;
- Proficient in promoting active equity and liquid alternative strategies;
- Skilled at persuading sophisticated investors with tailored solutions;
- Flourishes in both independent and team settings;
- Empathetic listener, offering innovative insights; AND
- Adaptable, intellectually sharp, and decisive communicator.
