Associate Electrical Engineer based in Melbourne. Work for a leading Building Services consultancy. Your new company
This national Building Services consultancy prides themselves on delivering a quality, multidisciplinary approach to all stages of a project lifecycle, from design through construction and into operation. Based in the Melbourne office, you will lead and grow the electrical team.
Your new role
Your main responsibility will be to generate local business for this consultancy. Key to this role is the ability to consult and manage projects; this will be a client-facing role with the need to liaise and manage project stakeholders and continue to market the company to secure future projects.
Key Responsibilities
Have substantial strategic influence on the direction of the Melbourne business, particularly the electrical discipline
Win business for the company by leveraging off your prior experience as well as gaining new contacts
Liaise with engineers, clients, authorities, project teams and maintain relationships with all
Monitor and report on team performance against agreed timelines and budget
Provide project updates to inform clients of project status to ensure positive client feedback and repeat business
Management of projects with expertise and business development is key to maintaining the upwards growth trajectory of the business
Provide timely and accurate expertise on matters relating to Electrical Engineering elements
What you'll need to succeed
Australian Citizenship or permanent residence
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree
CPEng / RBP or working towards CPEng, is highly desirable
8+ years local experience, Melbourne experience is essential
Business development and client engagement expertise
'Can do' attitude and drive to lead by example
Excellent time management, leadership and team work skills
Superb interpersonal and communication skills when liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
