Vivid Recruitment is partnering with a leading tier 1 engineering consultancy on their search for an Associate Electrical Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior engineer or associate/principal to work on some of the biggest projects in the country with a large focus on major hospitals. You will not only have guaranteed work from day one but plenty of blue sky above you in terms of leadership opportunities, which is rare in a large consultancy.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
- Electrical design calculations and assessment
- Lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish
- Assist Junior and Senior engineers
- Report and specification writing
- Liaise with authorities and contractors
- Attend project meetings
- Bring value to in-house design meetings
- Self-review of own work to ensure internal service is excellent.
- Adhere to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures.
Skills & Experience
- At least 6+ years' local engineering consultancy/contractor experience;
- Must have experience working for a Building Services Consultancy;
- Must have some healthcare project experience; Ideally large hospitals
- Ability to manage project priorities and communicate effectively with both internal and external clients around key dates;
- Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation;
- Exceptional levels of written and oral communication.
- Must have work rights for Australia
