Different to other engineering firms, Egis offers true end-to-end capability across the entire design-to-operation lifecycle, offering advisory, architecture, engineering, design, asset management and operations services.We are committed to creating great teams doing innovative work and would love you to join us to Impact the Future.Job DescriptionWith a strong portfolio of projects in hand, as well as a significant project pipeline, we are looking for an Associate Engineer to join our Brisbane Urban Development Team!As an Associate Engineer at Egis, you will have a focus on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects.You will work closely with the Brisbane Team Leader and local management, providing support and assisting in decision-making processes. You will also be responsible for coordinating and delegating tasks to team members, ensuring that project objectives are met within the given timeframes and budgets.Additionally, you will be actively involved in all aspects of the development process, from land rezoning, conceptual design, and feasibility studies to detailed design, contract documentation, and contract administration. This will require you to have a deep understanding of the project lifecycle and the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to the team.Your role as an Associate Engineer at Egis will be crucial in driving the success of our projects and ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will have the opportunity to contribute as an industry professional, leveraging your engineering expertise to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or a similar qualification in Civil Engineering is desirable.
  • Leadership experience and demonstrated people management skills (or the ambition to lead a team)
  • 7+ years of experience in Greenfield/Brownfield Land Development Projects.
  • Knowledge of 12D and AutoCAD
  • Demonstrated expertise in the consulting environment, with a focus on Urban/Land Development.
  • An understanding of the land development process.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • CPEng status and RPEQ
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities.
  • Experience in successfully managing projects within budget and on time.
