We are seeking an Associate Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Engineer to join our ANZ team in either Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or Wellington.
As an Associate Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Engineer you will apply standards and a best practice approach to the leading and delivery of ITS projects. You will lead and prepare project lifecycle documents for major ITS projects including proposals, concept designs, detailed designs, and operations and maintenance documents. You will also be required to provide technical advise and reviews on a variety of ITS projects.
In this role, you will lead and support the development of ITS detailed design packages in major infrastructure projects and be accountable for the development and implementation of Systems Engineering documentation. You will proactively build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant Tertiary Engineering Degree or similar.
- Prior ITS infrastructure project experience.
- Experience leading and developing Detailed Design documentation.
- ITS design leadership.
- Experience undertaking Cross-discipline coordination in design development.
- Experience leading the design through full project lifecycle.
- High level of experience in technical report writing.
- Experience leading Electrical, Controls and Telecommunications network design.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in the development of Concept of Operations and Operational Design Reports.
- Experience developing other Systems Engineering artifacts desirable.
- Experience in Traffic Control Signals design and/or Road Lighting design requirements desirable.
- Strong understanding in implementation of Quality management and independent review process.
- Experience with Stakeholder engagement and management.
