This global real estate investment business is rapidly growing its Australian operations as a result of the outstanding opportunities presented by the property market in this area of the world. The culture is fast-paced, growth-orientated, and engaging, and you will get the opportunity to be exposed to highly experienced senior managers with strong backgrounds in investments and development.Based in a high performing team, this is a newly created role intended to manage the procurement and purchasing across the APAC division of the global group.Duties include:

• Developing direct spend sourcing strategies
• Driving cost saving initiatives via supplier negotiations
• Oversight of the end-to-end purchasing process
• Managing relationships with suppliers around the region
• Review of supplier performance on a regular basis
• Implement and enforce procurement policies
• Supplier, contract, and supply chain risk management
• Management of RFP processes

You will have 7+ years direct procurement experience, ideally from a real estate/construction background and have previously held an APAC role.
