About the role
At the Graduate School of Health we provide innovative, practice-based physiotherapy education that leads to registration and high impact research excellence in acute care, rehabilitation and neuroscience.
We have an opportunity for an Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) to contribute to teaching, learning and curriculum of the physiotherapy discipline. In this role you will co-manage the clinical education program and assist with the coordination of clinical placements. In this role you will develop and promote links with industry, government, academic and professional bodies.
About You
As an Associate Lecturer you will need a passion for educational excellence, to foster an outstanding student experience. You will need to demonstrate experience working in an academic or clinical education role with expertise in clinical supervision. This role will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful you will also need:
- A degree in Physiotherapy
- Full Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) registration
- Being a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) is also preferred
Base Salary Range: $88,273 to $107,511 (Level A)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
The position is part-time (0.4 FTE) and funded until December 2024.
