- Salary - Classification - RN/M2A - Associate Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager LV2 - $100,343 to $107,279 pro rata
- Employment Part time - 32 Hours per week - Term Contract (temporary up to 27 Mar 2026)

The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity in the Women’s and Babies Division as Associate Nurse / Midwife Unit Manager (Postnatal Services) - in a Part Time (0.84FTE) term contract – until 27 March 2026.
As an Associate Midwife Unit Manager you will provide support to the Midwife /& or Nurse Unit Manager in the leadership of midwives / nurses in the Postnatal Service at the Women's and Children's Hospital.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Registered Midwife - or Nurse/Midwife (with a current practicing certificate) with at least 3 years post registration experience
- Experience in the supervision of Assistants in Nursing & or Midwifery, Student Nurses & / or Midwives, Enrolled Nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses & / or Midwives.
- Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
