- Salary - Classification - RN/M2A - Associate Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager LV2 - $100,343 to $107,279 pro rata
- Employment Part time – 32 hours per week - Permanent Ongoing (Neonatal Intensive Care - Portfolio)
- Employment Part time - 32 hours per week - Temporary (Neonatal Special Care - Portfolio) up to 16 May 2025)

The Opportunity
We currently have two exciting opportunities in the Women’s and Babies Division as Associate Nurse / Midwife Unit Manager (Neonatal Intensive Care) - in a Part Time (0.84FTE) Ongoing – Permanent capacity AND Associate Nurse / Midwife Unit Manager (Neonatal Special Care) - in a Part Time (0.84FTE) – Temporary (until 16 May 2025) capacity.
As a Associate NurseUnit Manager or Associate Midwife Unit Manager you will provide support to the Nurse &/or Midwife Unit Manager in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the Neonatal service at the Women's and Children's Hospital.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Registered Nurse & / or Midwife (with a current practicing certificate) with at least 3 years post registration experience
- Experience in the supervision of Assistants in Nursing & or Midwifery, Student Nurses & / or Midwives, Enrolled Nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses & / or Midwives.
- Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
