Job description

Embark on a rewarding career and be part of a team where your dedication makes a difference in people’s lives.

About the Role:

Join our team as an Associate Nurse Manager on a part-time in an ongoing position to work at the Acute Assessment Unit at Dandenong Hospital.

This is an ongoing part-time opportunity available working 64 hours a fortnight.

We are seeking a clinical leader wishing to develop into an Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) role, focused on the clinical development of staff, improving the patient experience and being open to innovative and collaborative ideas.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the ANM will develop themselves as a leader; being responsible for the clinical and operational outcomes of patients and staff alike. The ANM will proactively contribute to our vision of “exceptional care, outstanding outcomes”.

With proven communication and employee management skills, the ANM will be responsible for rostering, and maintaining a safe skill mix according to the Safe Patient Act and is expected to be a proactive leader in quality and safety; taking on a portfolio to improve our service and action any gaps in accordance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).

  • Demonstrated clinical leadership in a hospital setting
  • A willingness to learn & grow your leadership capabilities through a commitment to a portfolio

In Return

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established team in our Acute Assessment Unit. You will play a part in building the team and ensuring its success through providing outstanding care and timely discharge for our patients. You will be surrounded by a supportive leadership team that promotes growth and development within the role, allowing you to further your career with Monash Health.
