Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Macalister

Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Associate Unit Manager to join the Macalister team on a full time on going basis.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager this role plays an important part in leading and delivering optimum patient centred care to people over the age of 65 with mental health or behavioural issues at Latrobe Regional Hospital. The succesfull applicant will:
Oversee and provide leadership for day to day activities on the acute and nursing home sections of the unit.
You enjoy being part of a dynamic team yet are confident to work autonomously and assume leadership
Commitment to ongoing professional training and development

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill. The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to Latrobe Regional Hospitals mental health services in regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $20,000 subject to eligibility and negotiation with successful candidates. This incentive may be used to reimburse rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more!
