About the role
Join our dynamic team at South West Healthcare's Acute Unit as we search for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to take on the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead a team, fostering a positive and professional work environment, and delivering exceptional care to patients and their families. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you'll play a key role in upholding and promoting clinical standards, ensuring high-quality patient care, implementing strategic cost management, providing staff supervision, and contributing to overall unit management.
Our 22-bed Acute Care Unit is dedicated to caring for patients with complex surgical and medical needs. Additionally, it serves as the primary referral destination for patients transferring from our ICU department, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care.
Position Overview
- Permanent part time position (64 hours per fortnight).
- Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Associate Nurse Unit Manager Year 1 or Year 2
- Salary Range: $106,834.00 - $110,432.00
What you bring
- The successful applicant will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and will have relevant experience and completed post graduate qualifications.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical assessment skills, along with the ability to perform and communicate on all levels.
- Evidence of commitment to professional development of self and others is desirable.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 with the appropriate classification of Associate Nurse Unit Manager Year 1 or Year 2. Salary Range: $106,834.00 - $110,432.40 per annum pro rata
