Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH), Mental Health Services is seeking a dynamic, caring, and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Unit as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM).

Mental Health Services, which forms part of MBPH, offers a range of inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region. About the Role:
The Inpatient Unit consists of 14 beds and caters for a variety of clients that are requiring hospital admission. The Inpatient Unit maintains a high standard of care in order to provide a client, family/carer a recovery inclusive approach to their care.
In this senior position the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is to possess sound clinical leadership and have the ability to be a role model to staff. In particular; support processes, policies and practice that promote recovery and client centred principles. Through strong leadership and positive role modelling, the ANUM will work within a recovery framework under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, co-ordinate the staff team on a shift by shift basis to ensure effective day to day operation of the unit including bed and resource management.
Full-time and/or part-time applications will be considered. The successful candidate must be prepared to work shift work including nightshift and weekend work.
About You:
As a Registered Nurse, you will have AHPRA registration and extensive clinical skills and experience in Mental Health nursing. You will possess a post graduate qualification in Mental Health. An interest in management and leadership skills are essential.

Employment Conditions
This position is classified under the Victorian Public Mental Health services Enterprise Agreement. This is a Grade 3 ANUM position. Offers of employment are conditional on being able to provide appropriate qualifications and registrations along with immunisations, a national police check and an employee working with children’s check.
