The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about improving patient health outcomes? Would you like to join an organisation for 12 MonthsFixed Term contract with an established history where you can work on high-risk medical devices? This role will allow you to tap into your drive, initiative, creative solutions-based thinking, and negotiating abilities.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, Global Procurement and Supply Chain, you will bring your buying experience to our collaborative procurement team. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring that procurement activities are executed in line with category guidance, and in compliance with relevant global policies, standards, guidelines, and operating procedures
  • Collaborating with approved suppliers globally and locally to develop supplier relationships based on Cook Values
  • Actively participating within a Cook cross functional global team to understand business requirements and execute work based on procurement processes
  • Collaborating with the Procurement teams on entity supply issues as required to maintain supply
  • Execute the procurement requirements as defined by the business, keeping stakeholders top of mind
  • Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with inventory levels and sales forecasts
  • Monitor shipment schedules and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products

What we need from you:

We are seeking people who align with our company values and have a passion for providing quality solutions to our patients. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in similar role desired
  • Willigness to learn various procurement systems, tool, police and procedure is a must and be able to follow guidelines under management direction.
  • Diploma in related field desired
  • Understanding of demand planning and inventory management
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, planning and organising skills essential
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
