The Associate Relationship Manager is critical to making this happen and will:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio (between AUD6m and AUD15m) with responsibility for direct management of clients across different sub-segments of the Health market and with very different banking needs and styles. Portfolio may be split across multiple states with a primary focus on Victoria-based customers
- Build trusting relationships with business owners and executives of clients in portfolio and new-to-bank targets and over time across other clients of Health
- Through active but disciplined business development, origination and structuring, achieve financial performance in line with stretch targets for designated client portfolio including YOY growth in Revenue and ZCEP growth and Rev/RWA uplift, deposit growth and discipline around controllable expenses
- Actively plan at a client level how financial goals will be achieved
- Establish and execute engagement & revenue growth strategies for clients in portfolio.
- Drive the execution of transactions witihin risk appetite and in an efficient manner, meeting client timeframes
- With assistance from Executive Director, Health (VIC), hands on role structuring and negotiating complex structured finance deals
- Collaborate with the product specialists to support customer needs and drive cross-sell opportunities

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Banking experience with a preference for research and analysis, relationship, loan structuring or structure finance
- Sound credit skills and ability to make and influence decisions on significant and complex transactions
- Communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Corporate or Institutional banking experience
- Previous experience in the Health sector
