Associate/Senior Associate – Energy & Resources

KBE Legal Talent has been briefed by a top-ranked national firm to secure an Associate/Senior Associate to become part of their esteemed Energy & Resources team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major national firm that receives some of the best/most interesting matters in the Perth market. The firm has a large and diverse client base, including public and private blue-chip companies, global financial institutions, and government organisations.

This unique role offers exposure to a variety of complex and interesting matters. Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Advising and assisting with negotiations on native title and heritage matters.
• Land tenure issues.
• Project acquisitions, disposals and development.
• Divestment and structure across energy, resources and infrastructure.
• Shareholders agreements.
• Drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements.
• Joint venture agreements.
• Advising across general corporate and commercial matters.

This position would suit an E&R Lawyer with 3-8 years’ PAE from a top/mid-tier or leading boutique firm or an in-house team. The ideal lawyer will have a strong corporate/commercial background, provide pragmatic and innovative legal advice, and be solutions-focused.

You will have a platform to independently manage your responsibilities, while also gaining the opportunity to collaborate with sophisticated, top-tier clients in the industry.
