The role:

The North West Regional Hospital is seeking experienced applicants for the role of Attendant to:-

• provide support to the nursing and medical staff in undertaking general porting and orderly duties;
• work as part of the Emergency Response team to assist with hospital-wide security and participate in all emergency codes; and
• promote the principles of quality health care and customer service and foster a positive environment for patient outcomes.

You will join a cohesive and dynamic team, with on-the-job training provided and access to salary packaging.

Details of Appointment

Multiple permanent part time, shift-worker position working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you are ready.  

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $65,236 - $68,925 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022 

Eligibility:

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

1. crimes of violence
2. sex related offences
3. serious drug offences
4. crimes involving dishonesty

1. Identification check
2. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
