The Opportunity
We are excited to welcome an Audio Engineer Intern to our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about podcast production and sound design, looking to deepen their expertise in Audio engineering within a startup environment. You will play a crucial role in shaping the auditory experience of our podcast, ensuring high-quality sound in every episode.
Role and Responsibilities
- High-Quality Audio Recordings: Deliver pristine audio recordings for the podcast, ensuring each episode sounds clear and professional.
- Studio Recording Sessions: Be available on Friday afternoons for in-person studio recordings, collaborating directly with the production team.
- Audio Vision Alignment: Work closely with the Podcast Producer to understand and execute the audio vision, making sure the sound quality complements the storytelling.
- Equipment Proficiency: Manage and operate audio equipment effectively, recording high-quality sound onto your device.
- Feedback Implementation: Actively incorporate feedback from the team and stakeholders to refine audio edits and enhance the overall listener experience.
Requirements
- A keen interest in Audio engineering and podcast production.
- Experience with audio editing software, preferably Pro Tools or Logic Pro (or others)
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new audio techniques.
- Openness to constructive feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
