Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio Visual and Security Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, installation, and maintenance of our clients' AV equipment, security alarms, lighting control and automation control systems. This is a full-time position with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, program and maintain audio, video, and lighting equipment for residential installations.
- Install and configure security alarms and automation control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand and fulfill AV, security, lighting and automation requirements.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of AV equipment, security systems, and lighting controls to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support during installations and post-installation services.
- Stay updated on the latest AV technology, security systems, and lighting control advancements.
- Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV equipment, security alarms, and lighting control systems.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in AV technology, security systems, or lighting controls is a plus.
