We are looking to engage a skilled Audio Visual Technician (Video Conferencing) to join our Federal Government client!
This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this 12 month contract with an additional 6 months ofextensions offered.
Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain an NV2 security clearance will be considered for this role.
The experience and skills for this role are:
- Technical Proficiency with Cisco Products. Demonstrated experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco Video Conferencing and audiovisual equipment.
- Understanding of ITIL Framework. Knowledge of ITIL practices relevant to IT service management and operations, particularly in service request fulfilment, incident and problem management.
- Experience in Audio Visual Systems. Proven capability in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a variety of AV equipment and systems, including microphones, speakers, video monitors, projectors, and related technology.
- Customer Service Skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist and resolve government customer queries and issues.
- Problem-Solving Abilities. Aptitude for quickly diagnosing and resolving technical issues in high-pressure environments.
- Documentation Skills. Competency in documenting processes and incidents accurately and according to organizational standards, facilitating clear communication and compliance with operational requirements.
- Flexibility and Availability. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary, to support operations and special events.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Certifications. Certifications specific to Cisco systems, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Video Network Specialist. ITIL Foundation Certification or higher.
- Government Sector Experience. Previous experience working within government or other regulated industries, with an understanding of the specific operational and compliance challenges.
- Project Management Skills. Experience in managing small to medium AV projects, including planning, execution, and resource management.
- Training and Mentoring. Experience in training or mentoring staff in the use of AV and conferencing equipment.
- Innovative Thinking. Demonstrated ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives within the AV and IT support domains.
- Team Collaboration. Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other technical and non-technical staff.
