We are looking for aTrades Assistantto join our Audio Visual install team in delivering high end technology solutions for some of Australia's biggest corporates.
As the face of our company you will have a can-do attitude, with a high focus on customer service. You will demonstrate excellent mechanical and organisational skills, as well as have the ability to deliver assigned tasks and manage and communicate effectively with fellow team members and stakeholders.
Attention to detail is an essential pre-requisite and applicable training will be provided ongoing for this role.
Responsibilities will be across a full range of tasks including:
- Daily communication with the assigned project manager or site lead for site task updates and risk, issues and opportunities
- Hands on approach to helping deliver projects to ensure high client satisfaction including installations, commissioning,
- Assist other Vizcom teams as required for tasks including site surveys, service calls etc
- Rough in of cables, terminate cables, fit off brackets, hardware fit off, install/terminate racks
- Advising project manager, site lead or company management of any client issues
Key requirements for the role :
- Experience or similar in the installation of AV and technology systems desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Moderate computer skills
- Interested in learning this position as a lead in to becoming a key AV installer
