We are currently seeking interest for a Head of Department - Student Engagement to join our vibrant school community on a temporary full-time basis, for Semester 2, 2024 unless otherwise determined.
This is a temporary position for the period from 8 July 2024 until 13 December 2024 (Semester 2).

About Bell K-10 State School
The rural township of Bell is located 40 kilometres from Dalby. We are a Positive Behaviour for Learning school with rich community connections.
Our small classes enable our teaching and support staff to work together in a teamwork approach around pursuing individual learning goals for students and improving student achievement. There are high expectations of staff, students and parents regarding attendance, behaviour and engagement with the educational program. We believe communication between the home and the school is very important to ensure a supportive and well-nourished partnership, ensuring students are successful at school.
About the Role
As the Head of Department for Student Engagement, you will be responsible for some of the following:
- Accessing, tracking, connecting and analysing student data to target improvements in academic and social outcomes.
- Collaboratively developing an explicit improvement agenda for junior secondary.
- Leading primary and secondary partnerships and transitions so students are on track for success.
- Providing leadership and guidance for the school's positive engagement work
- Monitor progress and build meaningful pathways through a case management approach, working closely with the student support services team.
