About the role:
Tinnitus Relief Australia is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team. The role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our veterans through the convenience and accessibility of telehealth services.
This is a telehealth role with the flexibility to work from home. The focus of the position will be to assist Veterans through administrating Tinnitus Counselling via telehealth. The counselling treatment will be provided to eligible veterans over a number of 30-minute appointments. The sessions will follow a clinically proven Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) which assists clients to effectively manage their symptoms.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Tinnitus Counselling to Veterans via telehealth.
- Provide expert advice on the management of patient’s tinnitus symptoms.
- Maintain accurate and timely client records, including case and treatment notes.
- Provide high-quality care with an emphasis on patient engagement.
- Build relationships with patients.
Requirements for the role:
- Full Membership/Accreditation of Audiology Australia or the Australian College of Audiology.
- Be an experienced audiologist with a QP Number.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Experience delivering Tinnitus management programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in using digital tools and software for remote work and telemedicine.
