Reporting to the Head – Internal Audit, as the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Internal Audit Annual Plan and assist in leading independent and objective internal audits of key business processes across the global organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders, the Audit Manager will provide quality deliverables to provide assurance to the Board Audit and Risk Committee (BARC) and assist in managing risk across the diverse organisation. You will join the team in a period of exciting change, well supported by the management team and your peers. Your duties will include:
Managing and assisting in the delivery of internal audits in accordance with the Internal Audit Plan.
Drafting high-quality documentation including management and BARC updates and internal audit reports.
Developing internal audit documentation including risk and control matrixes, process narratives, detailed testing audit work programs and issue summaries with minimal supervision.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders including process owners, business leaders, and executive management.
Partnering with the business to develop feasible, appropriate solutions to identified audit issues.
Ensuring effective, timely, and transparent communication with stakeholders regarding audit findings, action recommendations, and progress of audits.
Managing professional service providers under outsourced and co-sourced internal audit arrangements.
Providing leadership and supervision to a small team and coach and develop internal audit staff.
Location: Open to candidates in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Hobart
Salary: AU$105k - AU$115k plus up to 15.4% superannuation

To be considered you will need:
Relevant tertiary qualifications, CA/CPA or CIA or CISA certification along with experience in performing internal audits within large, complex, and diverse organisations.
The ability to plan and execute audit work programs with minimal supervision.
Experience in evaluating, interpreting, and synthesising complex information and drawing logical conclusions and linkages.
Leadership and management experience commensurate with 4+ years in an Audit Manager level Internal Audit role.
Experience in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with relevant audit stakeholders.
Working knowledge of Institute Internal Auditors (IIA) Professional Standards and Quality Improvement Program requirements.
