- Must have own car as some travel to clients in regional Victoria is a requirement

Position objectives
You will report to the Director and will ensure you:
- Build strong client relationships;
- Communicate in a timely and professional manner with clients and Ryecrofts team members;
- Manage audit deadlines;
- Complete audit planning procedures including risk identification and subsequent procedures to address risks;
- Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues;
- Assist with management and co-ordination of the audit team including training, mentoring and methodology compliance;
- Conduct audit procedures in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards;
- Review financial statements to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards;
- Prepare concluding documentation and reporting for audit engagements;
- Summarise key issues and findings for the Audit Director;
- Complete audit engagements to a high-quality standard, within budget and on or before deadlines;
- Conduct audit engagements simultaneously; and
- Contribute to meetings and make effective presentations to staff and clients.

Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills including the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- Detailed working knowledge and application of the Corporations Act 2001, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards and other applicable legislation
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Must be able to use basic formulas and utilise features of Excel for clear presentation of workpapers
- Working knowledge of MyWorkpapers or similar audit software an advantage
- Working knowledge of PDF editor an advantage
- Strong relationship skills
