About The OpportunityJoin the Programmed Facility Management department as an
Audit Officer, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of social housing services across NSW. We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence to inspect and audit works performed by subcontractors. Based in Parramatta NSW, this permanent full-time role offers the chance for long-term career growth and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to community services.Through meticulous auditing and operational oversight, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections of customer sites to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
- Providing ongoing guidance to supervisors on necessary processes for maintaining compliance.
- Maintaining a comprehensive register of identified risks and ensuring timely reporting.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, project managers, and customers regarding work progress and requirements.
- Minimizing risks associated with day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with legislative standards.
- Generating formal reports when necessary to document findings and recommendations.

About YouTo thrive in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of building and engineering principles, coupled with excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will ideally have experience in technical auditing within the building industry, along with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Trade qualification advantageous, not essential
- Familiarity with Australian standards and the Building Code of Australia is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in technical auditing of building works is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint).
