An opportunity has arisen for an auto electrician to be based out of the Central Coast area and work in the surrounding areas, including Sydney and the Hunter Valley as well as working away from home.
We are seeking an Experienced auto electrician to join our team specializing in heavy equipment, earthmoving, trucks, and 4x4's.
The main tasks include -
- Installation and servicing of HEPA clean cab air filtration systems.
- Auto Electrical work on al types of mobile machinery.
- Mobile air conditioning repairs
- Installation and servicing of fire suppression systems.
This may be different to the type of work you are use to performing to but full training is provided.
Recon Industries Australia provides products and services to the transport, mining, agriculture, forestry, tunnelling, industrial and construction sectors.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Installation and servicing of HEPA clean cab air filtration systems.
- Auto Electrical work on al types of mobile machinery.
- Mobile air conditioning repairs
- Installation and servicing of fire suppression systems.
- Provide assistance to mobile service technicians and workshop technicians.
- Assemble components parts and follow work instructions using hand and small power tools.
- Ensure that work is performed as per work instructions.
- Proactively work within team environment.
- Complete all paperwork, requirements, timesheets, job cards.
- Assist to customers’ needs at counter and on the phone.
You
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Trade qualification (Cert III) in auto electrical
- Refrigeration handling license (or wiliness to obtain)
- Sound language, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to stay on task and take instructions well.
- Honest, Reliable and Trustworthy
- An excellent work ethic
- Neat and tidy presentation
- A strong focus on workplace health and a commitment to adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Driver’s license
- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing is desirable, but a wiliness to obtain is essential.
Experience working on vehicles/mobile equipment and machinery is an advantage, but all training will be provided.
