We are seeking an Auto-electrician for our Geraldton workshop. On completion of a 3 month probation this will be a long term Geraldton based position.
The applicant must be a self starter, have good attention to detail and pride in their work. Ability to work with and train Apprentices is an advantage. As the approved Service & Parts organisation for Isuzu Australia - Midwest Region, we offer training on the latest model Isuzu trucks. In addition to Isuzu, we are a very diverse workshop, servicing all models of trucks, trailers, 4WD's, cars and earthmoving equipment. We are seeking an adaptable Auto-electrician who is prepared to work on a variety of vehicles. Air conditioning experience is also required.
Applicants must be available for a limited amount of Saturday work and hold a manual drivers licence. MC,HC or HR truck licence is highly regarded.
Wages are paid above award and will be discussed at interview. Rate paid will be commensurate with experience.
Geraldton is a beautiful coastal City situated 400km North of Perth Western Australia. With a population of around 32,000, we have all the shopping amenities of major cities. Geraldton has excellent sporting facilities and is a great place to bring up children. The fishing is awesome with the world renowned Abrolhos Islands only 38 miles off the coast. If the bush is your thing, 50km East of us you are in the outback. Rentals here are very affordable, unlike the housing further to the North.
This is a lifestyle job, you have most of your weekends free and is definitely not a Fly in/Fly out job.
