This role will see you developing your technical competencies and to assist in training other team members on the installation, servicing, and maintenance of the system. The role is technical/equipment focused and have you providing guidance, implementation/technical support/repairs and advice on the implementation and strategies for the AutoMine equipment.
About The Role
- Develop and organise Automation support for AutoMine technical, repairs and training for workshop personnel
- Provides technical support and training to the service network and workshops on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting practices
- Provide feedback to Sandvik site PSA’s and Sandvik Automation in compiling accurate data to process warranty claims and engineering machine improvements.
- Review spare parts recommendations and develop accuracy of Machine Life Operating Costs (MLOC)
- Create store stock max/mins and submit to stores for addition to site stock
- Work to develop system project plans, project schedules and commissioning activities.
- Perform equipment installations and commissioning.
- Assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules for AutoMine fitted equipment and infrastructure
- Hold a relevant Auto Electrical trade qualification
- Have previous experience with RCT or Sandvik AutoMine highly regarded, however training will be provided
- Hold a current Australian Manual Driver's Licence
- Possess underground mechanical maintenance experience in mobile fleet, including but not limited to; Sandvik, Epiroc and Caterpillar equipment
- Be competent to remove, dismantle, diagnose faults, reassemble, test, and return equipment to service
- Have an understanding of equipment and stores systems will be highly regarded
- Demonstrate a high commitment to a positive safety culture
