Our client, a leading manufacturer of vehicles based in Clayton North, is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join their team. As pioneers in this space, they have over 80 years' experience manufacturing vehicles along with a great company culture. You will have the skills & ability to install electrical wiring, repairs and diagnostics as required, all whilst maintaining high quality and safety standards.
The position requirements include but are not limited to:
- Auto Electrical Installations
- Diagnostics
- Repairs
- Continuous improvement tasks
- Mechanical fault finding and adjustments
- Reading & following SOP’s
- Following all required safety procedures
- An Auto Electrician trade qualification is preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in the Heavy Vehicle Industry, or similar Automotive environment
- Proven experience with Auto Electrical wiring and fault diagnosis
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings
- A team player with a positive, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to details
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required
- Basic tools
Week 1- 6am - 3:15pm Monday to Thursday & 6am- 12pm Friday
Week 2- 6am - 3:15pm Monday to Thursday & RDO Friday
On Offer
$36 to $41 per hour depending on experience + super + overtime
