It is equipped with the latest technical equipment as an independent automotive service provider for all model vehicle owners. The workshop offers professional and trustworthy workmanship for vehicle repairs or scheduled maintenance.
Your New Role:
A skilled Auto Electrician to work in a busy auto electrical service centre. Your duties will include installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for modern-day vehicles. Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.
Undertake training and keep abreast of industry trends and repair techniques.
As well as this, you will be responsible for:
- Neatly and accurately fill out job sheets and daily billable hours spreadsheet
- Following all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as per the technician’s job description document
To be successful in this role as an Auto Electrician, you should have extensive knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems, have a good eye for detail, and be able to problem-solve complex electrical problems. Ultimately, a top-notch Auto Electrician can install, troubleshoot and repair any electrical system in a vehicle.
Self-motivated and work comfortably without direct supervision. Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a high level of understanding of both spoken and written English.
You will need to be quality focused and have a genuine desire to continuously deliver exceptional standards in customer service and be able to inspire others for constant improvement.
As well as this, you will have:
A qualification as an Auto Electrician
Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems
Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment
Certifications of other ongoing training and up-skilling
A current open and unrestricted driver’s license is essential
An automotive air-conditioning licence would also be an advantage
