Automatic Door/Service Technician

Hold Fast Industries, a leader in door solutions, is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. We specialize in Rapid Roller Doors, Sectional Doors, Gates, Roller Shutter Doors, and Automated Doors. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic, keen to learn and grow within our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain various door systems.
• Liaise with customers regarding repairs and Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Complete company documentation through SimPro.
• Provide technical advice and support where needed.

Key Competencies:

• Experience with automated door services is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge and fault identification skills.
• High presentation standards.
• Competence in client communication.
• Ability to participate in after-hours call-out service on a roster basis.
• Forklift license is preferred.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Possession of an industry white card.

Requirements:

• Flexibility in the work environment.
• Strong adherence to OH&S policies.
• Maturity and ability to work unsupervised.
• Valid driver's license (essential).
• EWP (Scissor Lift) license and Restricted Electrical License are preferred.

• General presentation (clean vehicle, tools, and uniform).
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Product knowledge.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Accurate completion of paperwork.
