Tristar Electrical continues to experience strong demand for its Industrial Electrical Automation services and is now looking for an Automation Controls Technician, based in Cheltenham SA to join the Automation Engineering team on a full-time basis.

With a strong workload ahead and a growing client base of well-known Australian brands across a wide range of industry sectors including Food, Wine, Water and Manufacturing, now is a great time to join a company that has a strong reputation for consistently delivering results. 

For the successful candidate, you will be excited by the opportunity to join a highly capable team who are skilled and experienced in troubleshooting PLC & SCADA platform related issues as well as providing a quick response service to a variety of clients.

This will be a fantastic platform from which you will be able to contribute your experience as an A Class Electrician who enjoys the challenge of responding to customer breakdowns as well as managing a variety of small and interesting projects within an industrial services environment.

As the ideal candidate you will have experience in the following areas:

• Qualified A Class Electrician with experience in Automation & Control Systems
• Experienced with troubleshooting and fault finding across major platforms including Rockwell, Schneider & Siemens
• Assisting with commissioning projects
• Working with customers both onsite and remotely
• Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
