You will be an integral part of the robotics and automation team, ensuring that we provide excellent service to a wide variety of industries and equipment. The role is very hands on and requires hard work and dedication. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for the service of robotics & automation equipment. This is an exciting role and on the job training will be provided with the potential for the right person to learn all aspects in the service of automated systems.
Role Responsibilities;
- Service of many type of Automated equipment including industrial robots.
- Use of hand tools, grinding, drilling holes etc
- Cleaning and tidying
- Production of on site paper work including Service Reports, JSA documentation, Reports to customers regarding rectification of problems.
- Promoting of the Service Department.
- Assembly and installation of robotic equipment
- General factory duties
Role Requirements;
- Experience using hand tools
- Experience operating machines
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience manufacturing and assembling machines or equipment.
- Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
- Able to work as part of a team and also autonomously
- Fluent in the use of documentation software.
-Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and electrical drawings.
- Ability to understand & follow instructions
- Reliable, honest & hardworking
- Required PPE - Steel Cap Boots, High Visibility shirt
-Travel all over Australia as Required.
Advantages;
- MIG or TIG welding experience
- Forklift License
- Working at Heights Permit
- Previously Gained Service Capabilities
-Have a Restricted electrical Work Licence ( S permit)
