Our insurance client is looking for an Automation Tester with experience in Duck Creek to join their amazing team in Brisbane CBD.
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with expertise in Duck Creek, automation, and an insurance background, preferably with knowledge of Guidewire and Playwright. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with our development team to design, implement, and execute automated tests, identify and report defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Duck Creek, Guidewire, and Playwright.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy sessions.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation testing and insurance technology.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an Automation Tester, with specific experience in Duck Creek.
Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools, including Guidewire and Playwright.
Experience working in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
