About the role:
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior members of the accounts team and provide team leadership across the whole department.
- Maintain an accurate set of accounts for multiple business entities.
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor all AP and AR transactions and report on anomalies
- Have a sound track record of providing processes of improvement.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and eternal customers.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory returns.
- Tertiary qualified Accountant; professional qualifications desirable (CA/CPA)
- Experience in dealership accounting is desirable
- Sound knowledge in tax, cash flow, cost accounting and financial accounting
- Great communication skills both verbal and written.
- Previous management/ leadership for junior team members is advantageous.
