Clark Equipment Sales Pty Ltd are the National Distributor of Bobcat Skid Steer Loaders & Excavators, Doosan Excavators & Wheel Loaders, Clark Forklifts, Road Construction Equipment, Agricultural Equipment and Omega Lift Trucks.

Job details:

We currently have Full-time Workshop and Field Service Automotive Electrician positions available at our Melbourne branch. The successful applicants will have extensive experience in maintaining and repair of earthmoving, construction and/or material handling equipment.

Tasks:

• Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
• Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
• Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
• Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles.
• Connecting power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply.
• Adjusting engine control systems and timing
• Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors.
• Repairing and replacing faulty ignition and electrical wiring
• Replacing defective parts such as fuses, lamps and switches

What we are looking for:

• Trade Certificate in Automotive Electricals.
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
• Hold a valid Australian drivers licence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience diagnosis and repairing of heavy mobile equipment. 

The following would be advantageous:

• Automotive Air Conditioning licence
• Computerised diagnostic skills
• MR, Forklift, EWP, plant and LPG licences

Salary Range:

$80,000 to $100,000 + superannuation
