Alpine Motors Canberra is specialised in European and Japanese cars. We provide repair and maintenance service of most European cars including Peugeot, Citroen & Renault and all Japanese Cars. We are seeking a qualified and experienced mechanic to join our professional and dynamic team in Canberra. You will be required to carry out high quality servicing, diagnostic and repair work on all vehicle makes and models including Peugeot, Citreon and Renault.
Key duties will include but not limited to:
- Diagnosing faults (Mechanical and electrical) in engines and parts of the Vehicle
- Removing and assembling mechanical components (engine, steering) and other parts
- Conduct maintenance services, repair, and replace worn and defective vehicle parts
- Conduct Routine maintenance services of the Vehicles to achieve smoother running of the Vehicles and ensure with compliance with pollution and other regulations
- Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions and various other components
- Providing scheduled maintenance services
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Using specialist diagnostic technology & tooling to accurately & efficiently diagnose faults
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
- Aligning, balancing and replacing wheel rims and tyres
- Decarburizing engines, change oil and filters and lubricate vehicle parts for fuel efficiency
- Repair defective parts and replace worn components and assemble them.
