AddressMercedes-Benz Seven Hills has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Vans Technician.
Duties & Responsibilities
- All repairs carried out are to be repaired right the first time
- Test drive vehicles if necessary, to verify customer complaints
- Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints
- Advise Workshop Controller of additional work required, or if work requested is not required
- Ensure that the vehicle is left clean and seat covers, floor mats and guard covers are used at all times and removed on completion of work.
- Ensure work bays are cleaned after job and washed daily
- Ensure that any specialised tool that is used is to be out back in its designated area and if it’s damaged ensure the workshop controller is informed
- Personal tool kit is maintained to a level that enables you to carry out tasks assigned
- Carry out any duties assigned by the Workshop Controller, Service Advisors and Service Manager
Qualifications/Experience
- Prior experience as a Technician
- Basic understanding of electronic components and systems
- Be familiar with testing equipment
- Skill in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and components
- Clear and concise writing skills
- Ability to operate unsupervised, and take pride in work performed
