New Pioneer Motors is a family owned & operated Dealership located in the Mackay region.
We are currently seeking a Warranty/Costing Clerk to join our busy and fast paced Service Department, working with brands like Ram, GMSV, MG and Renault.
The Warranty/Costing Clerk will be responsible for all paperwork regarding repairs under warrantable circumstances whilst also costing and closing of retail, internal & warranty service invoices.
About the role
Reporting to the Service Manager, and working alongside our Service team, you will be responsible for:
- Compiling and completing warranty and out of warranty support claims accurately as per the guidelines set by our manufactures.
- Keeping valid, current, and legible records of all claims submitted.
- Keeping the dealership compliant with regular audits.
- Ensures warranties are claimed within applicable timeframe.
- Communicating effectively with service and updating them regularly.
- Ensuring invoice job descriptions, labour charges and the parts allocated are accurate .
- Complete costing of repair orders and assist in other department costing duties if Manager requires.
