The Opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Parts & Warranty Inventory Clerkto join our innovative BYD team, located at our Parts Distribution Centre in Pinkenba.
Reporting to the General Manager of our Parts Distribution Centre, this role is integral to the administration support of our BYD Parts Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with our BYD Parts Supplier and processing documentation for parts orders and stock inventory for BYD warranty parts.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are crucial for this role. As a key representative of our business with our OEM partners, it is imperative that the person in this role maintains a professional attitude at all times and deals with parts warranty issues in a timely and courteous manner.

The Role
- Collate part warranty part information from our BYD warranty team
- Keep valid, current, and legible records of all claims submitted
- Maintain warranty storage of return parts and return all parts requested
- Submit transport and hidden damage claims
- Complete costing of repair orders
- Assist in other department costing duties - as required
About You

- Must be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERA is desirable.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Experience with costing in dealerships advantageous but not essential
- Prior experience in this role would be highly desirable.
