About the opportunity
The ICT Service Management team is looking for an AV Contractor Coordinator. This role will be responsible for ensuring AV problems are managed effectively and resolved successfully by leveraging the specialized skills of external contractor companies. This role will need to plan suitable work schedules and timeframes for the external contractors as well as process contractor invoices for completed work.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
investigate and understand AV issues to determine if an external contractor can resolve the issue
schedule external contractors and plan suitable timeframes to ensure the issue is resolved in a safe and timely manner
ensure all security and safety risk processes related to contractor work are employed and inductions and clearances are completed
ensure contractors are adhering to safe practices and complying with university policy and procedures
become the main point of contact for the contractor, providing direction and ongoing support to contractors when working on main and satellite campuses
update key stakeholders regarding issues and requests throughout the resolution process
ensure all contractor invoices are verified and processed.
About you
has relevant tertiary education qualifications
relevant experience within AV Technology
prior experience with invoicing and procurement will be advantageous
excellent people management skills with an inquisitive and risk-averse mindset
excellent stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels around service changes and impacts
able to work independently and in a fast-paced work environment.
