The role:
The AV Technician will be responsible for maintaining and improving IT and AV infrastructure to enable more effective and efficient use of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support for all IT/AV technology aspects at major events at the Department.
- Maintain system security and Monitor and analyse IT/AV performance.
- Prepare technical documentation outlining installation and commissioning of IT/AV solutions.
- Development of appropriate contingency plans should IT/AV equipment fail.
- Use software and hardware skills to maintain and enhance system configuration.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience working as an IT Support Technician.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AV infrastructure systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of IT/AV technology usage in educational settings will be highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of the ITIL framework.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical language into easy to understand language.
