An exciting opportunity to join our Aviation team as an Aviation Rescue Crew Officer at either our Sydney or Cooma base. The role works as part of our aircrew performing helicopter rescue functions in support of fire and flood operations throughout NSW. The role further supports RFS Remote Area Firefighting capability through the delivery of related aviation training.
As our ideal candidate, you will have a Certificate III Aviation (Rescue Crew), be accredited in the RFS as an Aviation Rescue Crew Officer, with a demonstrated experience in undertaking helicopter rescue roles as a rescue crew officer. You will need to be able travel at short notice for some extended periods and be willing to undertake shift work as the need arises.
