About the role

This position is responsible for overseeing security operations at the designated site, ensuring the safety of personnel, visitors, and property. Your duties will include maintaining vigilance, enforcing access control measures, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure personal safety of staff, visitors, and property.
• Team Leadership and Management
• Asset Protection and Incident/Emergency Response Coordination
• Surveillance Oversight
• Patrol Management
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Security Compliance
• Maintain focus on asset protection activities.
• Use appropriate communication methods to report incidents promptly.
• Address any unusual events with knowledge of site requirements.
• Operate access control systems and maintain area security.
• Control gates and allocate loading spaces efficiently.
• Direct deliveries and contractors to authorized areas.
• Report any discrepancies between SOPs and daily activities.

Skills and Experience

• Full working rights in Australia
• Leadership experience in managing security teams
• Certificate II in Security Operations and a valid Security License
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) check
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
• Strong customer service background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
