Azure Data Engineer

We are closely working with a renowned Australian Group that is seeking an experienced Application Azure Data Engineer to join the team.As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a strategic program focused on designing, developing, and operating the company's Data and Analytics capabilities. You will assist stakeholders in understanding the data through exploration and build and maintain secure and compliant data processing pipelines using various tools and techniques.For this role, you will need strong experience in the following:

• 5+ years' experience in designing and implementing Data Lake solutions on Azure, including Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Blob storage
• 5+ years' experience in designing and building advanced Data Pipelines and Data Warehouses at an enterprise scale
• DevOps experience inclusive of creating CI/CD/CT pipelines for Data Engineering and analytics using Azure DevOps
• Experience with MS-SQL, T-SQL, meta-data driven and Change Data Capture (CDC)
• 3-4 years' experience in fast cloud-based data solutions (IoT, Streaming, Data Lake)
• Experience with Databricks (Python programming, all-purpose and job cluster)
• 3-5 years' experience with enterprise modern data architecture patterns and metadata-driven ETL solutions.
• Data Model (Kimball and Inmon model concepts and practices, especially type 2)
• Experience in data visualisation and reporting using; Power BI (Fabric) and Data Science Notebooks
• Exposure to Spark.
• Exposure in Azure ML Services & Sandbox solutions * Experience with Agile practices
