Our Federal Government Client is seeking Azure DevOps Engineers to work on assisting in the delivery of key projects in one of their programs. This role will contribute a project which is key to improving agriculture export capability across industry.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Define, develop and document the existing automation technologies to enhance the system's build, test and deployment capabilities.
- Assist the application development teams with the development and maintenance of DevOps continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
- Participate and help guide project cloud migration work, support and further develop Azure pipelines for the solution platform.
- Identify and support the implementation of further opportunities for automation within the product development process to improve and streamline service delivery.
- Maintain visibility of version control between production systems and planned deployments
- Maintain visibility of changes across multiple environments and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders
- Highly effective communication skills and in particular an ability to explain complex issues and concepts to IT management and/or senior business stakeholders
Requirements
- Extensive experience in developing automated build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML, ARM Templates and PowerShell.
- Experience in defining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (using, Terraform, or Bedrock) and incorporating these into automated pipelines.
- Experience in developing applications in one or more of Java, Microsoft.net, Oracle-Deployed applications (WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Database, Access Manager etc)
- Extensive knowledge & Experience in configuring, monitoring, and optimising services for the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Azure DevOps certification and certifications on the azure platform.
- Experience with or knowledge of container management and orchestration tools.
