In this role you will be a fundamental part of the design, analysis and development of a OTC derivative clearing platform upgrade.
You will be working on a large program of work evolving the existing clearing risk management solutions and driving the improvement of business processes,holding responsibility for assessing new concepts against current systems and procedures in place, you will analyse stakeholder needs by engaging with internal and external stakeholders through various facilitation.
Responsibilities :
- Work with impacted stakeholders to perform deep dives and discovery on clearing risk managements systems for cash and derivatives products, allowing for the effective review by projects teams and impacted stakeholders.
- Liaise with assigned product owners and SME's for Prioritisation, elicitation and analysis of new business requests within the program
- Run workshops to identify requirements and evaluate solutions.
- Perform gap analysis between As-Is state and To-Be
- Write high quality user stories and acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets, with a strong understanding of derivative products and clearing processes
- Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
- Demonstrated expertise in requirement gathering, business requirements BRD preparation and user story developments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Strong Analytic skills and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience:
- Basic technical knowledge in database, java, XML and issues analysis using application server logs.
- Understanding needs of internal and external customers with a customer centric mindset.
- Understand and experience with needing to drive outcomes in an ever changing landscape
- Ability to prioritise needs and resources.
