This reputed large ASX top 20 company with household name brands has been growing significantly over the last few years with new product offerings and strategic acquisitions. They are currently expanding their operations through new distribution channels as well as developing their own digital offerings.
I am recruiting for a Senior Commercial Analyst/ Finance Business Partner to join their high performing team. Business Partnering with Senior Stakeholders to drive strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis and provide insight to help the business understand performance and drive action to address issues/leverage opportunities
- Present and articulate analysis, insights and recommendations to different stakeholder groups in ways that they understand, and engage in robust and challenging discussions on findings and recommendations
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of key expense and capital lines, savings opportunities and key projects
- Own the monthly period performance and annual budget process, and as part of this, implement process improvement opportunities to enable increased focus on analysis rather than reporting
- Take the finance lead on reviewing business cases, monitoring results and KPIs
- Maintain existing processes, systems and tools whilst also driving continuous improvement to automate and enhance existing analysis and reporting
- Respond to stakeholder requests and manage own workload by prioritising tasks and managing stakeholder expectations and timelines in a mixture of working environments, including Agile
- Collaborate and coordinate with other teams across Finance and the business to achieve alignment and deliver timely outcomes to support key initiatives
Profile
To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:
- CA / CPA or similar business qualification with commercial awareness and business focus
- Experience in a transaction services/consulting (mid/top tier accounting firm) will be highly regarded
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to make the complex simple
- Strong Financial Modelling, Analytical experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey key messages to stakeholders, and an adaptive style and ability to influence outcomes
