About us:
We are a high volume, fast paced bariatric surgical practice with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals providing high quality care for our patients. Our clinic is located in Midland Western Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for patients undergoing Bariatric Surgery.
- Develop and implement individual nutrition advice for pre and post-surgery.
- Educate and consult patients on dietary guidelines and lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including the Surgeon, Exercise Physiologist and other dietitians on the team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition advice as needed.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in bariatric nutrition.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (APD) with current license to practice and bill.
- Experience in management of Bariatric patients strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team involving other dietitans and exercise physiologist as well as surgeon.
- Should have own professional indemnity insurance
